Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: October 2026

InventoryConnect.io ("we", "us", "InventoryConnect") is a B2B SaaS platform used by watch and luxury-goods dealers to manage their own inventory, customers, and integrations. Our users are the dealers themselves. When a dealer connects a third-party platform (Facebook Page, Instagram Business account, Google account, Microsoft account, eBay seller account, etc.) to their InventoryConnect store, we store the OAuth tokens and the minimum data required to operate the integration — for example, the Facebook Page ID for a connected Page, or the inbound messages received through that Page.

This page describes how dealers and end-users can request deletion of that data.

If you are a dealer (InventoryConnect customer)

You can remove a connected platform from your store at any time, without contacting us:

  1. Log in to your InventoryConnect dashboard
  2. Open Settings → Integrations
  3. Click into the integration you want to disconnect (Facebook Messenger, Instagram, Google Workspace, Outlook, eBay, Twilio, etc.)
  4. Click Disconnect

This removes the OAuth tokens we hold for that integration, unsubscribes our webhooks on the upstream platform's side where applicable, and stops any future inbound sync. Conversation history that already came through prior to disconnection is preserved on your InventoryConnect store so you don't lose customer context — if you want that history removed as well, follow the full-store deletion process below.

Gmail and Outlook are the exception. When you disconnect a Gmail or Outlook mailbox we ask whether to keep or delete the emails we synced from it. Choose Delete and every email synced from or sent through that mailbox is permanently removed from your store. You can also do it later: Settings → Email accounts → Synced email → Delete all synced email. Nothing in the mailbox itself changes. Documents and photos you imported from Google Drive are your store's files and stay until you delete them. Deleting a teammate's account also deletes the email their own mailbox synced. Disconnecting does not remove InventoryConnect from your Google or Microsoft account; do that in the account's own security settings.

Full-store data deletion

The fastest way is in the app, and it is immediate. Go to Settings → Your profile → Danger zone → Delete account, type DELETE to confirm, and it happens on the spot — no ticket, no waiting period, no approval step. This is available to every user on every plan, in the web app and in the iPhone and Android apps.

What gets deleted depends on whether anyone else is on the store:

  • If you are the only person on the store, your account and the whole store go — inventory, customers, sales, invoices, integrations and message history. These files are deleted from our storage too: inventory photos and documents, client documents, service photos, shipment photos, videos and labels, signed agreements and valuations, files attached to messages (including photo links sent by text), your website's media library, your store and email logos, files buyers uploaded through your website forms, files of records still in Recently deleted, the attachments your team added to your support tickets, files shared in your team chat, the spreadsheets and images you gave Ultron to import, photos buyers sent through your storefront's sell / trade form, invoice PDFs you imported, and images you placed in the email builder. A file is deleted only when it was uploaded to your store's own storage space (a photo or link that points somewhere else is left alone), and a listing photo another store still uses is kept. Call recordings and voicemails stay with your phone provider (we only keep a link to them), so delete those in your phone provider's account; attachments that arrived on email to your built-in address, and photos sent to you on Facebook or Instagram, are held by those services, not by us.
  • If colleagues remain, your login and personal details are deleted and the store's records stay with the business. Anything that must name a person — sales you recorded, documents you uploaded — moves to an admin at your store.

Either way it is permanent and cannot be undone, and support cannot recover it afterwards.

If you would rather we did it for you, or you cannot sign in, email support@inventoryconnect.io from the address on file for your account with the subject line "Delete my store". We will:

  1. Acknowledge receipt within 2 business days
  2. Confirm your identity (we'll reply from the address tied to the store owner)
  3. Permanently delete your store and all associated data within 30 days of confirmation
  4. Send you a final confirmation when the deletion is complete

If you are an end-user who interacted with a dealer's store

If you sent a Facebook Messenger DM, Instagram DM, SMS, email, or WhatsApp message to a dealer who uses InventoryConnect, that conversation may be stored on the dealer's InventoryConnect store. To request deletion:

  1. Contact the dealer directly — they are the data controller for their own customer data. The dealer can delete your customer record + all associated messages from their InventoryConnect dashboard at any time.

  2. If you cannot reach the dealer, email support@inventoryconnect.io with:

    • The name of the dealer / business you contacted
    • Your phone number, email, or Facebook/Instagram username (whichever channel you used to reach them)
    • A statement that you are requesting deletion of your data from that dealer's InventoryConnect store

We will forward your request to the dealer and, where required by applicable law (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), follow up to ensure deletion is completed within the legally required timeframe.

If you removed the InventoryConnect app from your Facebook account

When you remove InventoryConnect from your Facebook account via facebook.com → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, Facebook notifies us. We then revoke the OAuth tokens we hold for your account and stop any further syncing from your connected Pages or Instagram Business accounts. Any historical message data that was already synced to a dealer's InventoryConnect store before you removed the app remains on that dealer's store; see the section above to request its deletion.
